Jordan's Taybah Steel Group plans to invest a new rebar mill and DRI plant in Riyadh.

The firm expected that the new investment could meet the demands from new construction activity in Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, the new mill will be named as Watani Steel with the rebar capacity of 500,000 tpy.

In addition, the production line is expected to start in 2013 and the DRI plant construction will be completed at the end of 2013.
